I used a reusable bag in Kroger last night. I ended up getting a free Kroger reusable bag also.
It did make carrying things into the apartment much easier, but I feel like I am supposed to vote for Ralph Nader now. I feel like I need a Volkswagen van. I feel like I need to not wash my clothes for a week and get some tie-dyed shirts.
But I do not have to worry about growing my hair long.

There are worse things to turn into my dear friend. Just think, you could be turning into a yuppie like me.
I recycle what I can (even taking magazines and cardboard to the drop off places) and try to remember my reusable grocery bags.
And I am soooooo not a hippie :) Although I think I'm married to one and he gets annoyed with my recycling ways.
So what defines hippie?
I guess that is the essential question. And I don't have an answer.
I really like my reusuable bag though. It makes life a whole lot easier.
Maybe that is all that matters.
truthfully, I think i'd prefer it if I could use a big tub to carry all of my groceries in if I make a big trip. with a lid. bungee chord for the top in the back fo the truck. save time to load an unload. could even use the tub to store it in. would not have to unload the non-perishables.
