Communication Costs

There are some people I do not like. I assume the feeling is mutual, so I remain cordial.

But there are some people I would really like to tell what I think of them, just tell them how idiotic they are, just call them the liars that they are. I assume they would like to do the same to me.

So maybe there would be a Pareto improvement if we just tell each other how we feel.

I am curious as to the person that inspired this post. My limited experience is that, with the exception of the military, two people calling each other asses and liars isn't going to be a Pareto improvement. Not in the long-run anyway.

I admit it is a stupid controversey that is why I remain cordial.

I just think if we aired our complaints; we might be able to reconcile.

But as ML reminded me, some people are not worth reconciling with.
