Announcement

Starting today, November 10th, 2006, the Frederic Bastiat Institute For The Consumer (FBIC)is open for business. Any donations can be mailed to me personally.

The Institute's follows Bastiat's philosophy:

"Treat all economic questions from the viewpoint of the consumer for the interests of the consumer are the interests of mankind."

So now my interpretation is that you want to extend this to include business owners. Since when did it become law that business owners have no rights? Economics is not law, and should not be treated as one.

No. NO. NO!

Read the quote: "...the interests of the consumer are the interests of mankind."

A business owner is part of mankind. A business owner consumes. He is a consumer. He has rights as a consumer. But he does not have the right to block the welfare of other consumers in the name of his business.

Entrepreneurs are the key to economic growth. Business owners who use the law to protect their businesses are scum.
