"Adam Smith's enormous authority resides, in the end, in the same property that we discover Marx: not in any ideology, but in an effort to see to the bottom of things." Robert L. Heilbroner commenting on An Inquiry into the Nature and Causes of the Wealth of Nations-- We are no Adam Smith, but we are putting forth "an effort to see to the bottom of things."

The Twins have a deal where students can go to Wednesday games for $5. The downside is that they play indoors at the Metrodome. If it were you would go sometime?
My Grandfather said: "never pass up a chance to see a baseball game. Never."
I have not taken this advice, but I appreciate it.
Personally I would go every chance I got.
The Metrodome will always remind of Kirby Puckett and Jack Morris, of the worst to first World Series.
If you aren't living at the Metrodome by the end of the season you're not alive. Go now and go as often as you can. Sure it sucks that they play indoors but any time you spend at the baseball park, be it indoor and outdoor, is time well spent.
My wife and I are going this weekend to see the O's take on Ichiro and the Mariners. I'm hoping that it's not a wasted trip to Bodymore, Murderland.
If the Braves lose to the Marlins than you can officially throw in the towel. Until then, just be ready to see Jose and the boys from Shea to bring the pain.
I was honestly just hoping for an 80 win season. I have already chalked up 25-30 losses between the Mets and Phillies.
All I heard all Spring was how they "fixed their bull-pen problem."
I guess it is a long season, but this has been a shitty start especially with the freight train coming in this weekend.
