This is what I wrote yesterday:
The NBA is very interesting this year. I still see the Spurs or Pistons winning it all, and I see this as a good thing especially if the Pistons win it. But I almost care about the NBA right now. I haven't cared about the NBA in a long time.
This is what I am writing today:
I have no idea about the NBA. I will follow the rest of the season and hope that the Pistons win the championship.

Maybe I am doing a bad job at following current events, but you lost me.
They might not be the "Bad Boys" of the late '80s that I loved as a kid but goddamn if the Pistons don't have me excited about them again this year. Let's hope they can keep it together. With the Mets looking in better shape and the Pistons possible NBA finalists life is good.
Sam,
Ignore "yesterday" and "today".
Or:
Replace yesterday with "my
pompous "I know everything about all sports" side, and replace today with my realistic more honest side.
Then let me tell you: A bunch of players have changed from being on bad teams to good teams.
There are nine (really) good teams in the West and only eight playoff spots. There are two really good (well, we'll see) teams in the East and Lebron James. Lebron James is as dominant and "great" as anyone I have ever seen in any professional sport.
Jeff,
They aren't the Bad Boys, but I like them too. They are a superstarless team that plays defense and has a chance. Flip worries me though.
(I see Duncan as a superstar.)
