"Adam Smith's enormous authority resides, in the end, in the same property that we discover Marx: not in any ideology, but in an effort to see to the bottom of things." Robert L. Heilbroner commenting on An Inquiry into the Nature and Causes of the Wealth of Nations-- We are no Adam Smith, but we are putting forth "an effort to see to the bottom of things."

Welcome to my world. The Bears shit the bed the minute Urlacher got hurt. You guys need a new coach and new quarterback asap. If you stick with Zorn and Campbell any longer you'll be giving Detroit and Tampa Bay a run for the money in most consecutive loses.
The last few minutes of today's Vikging's game were worth watching. I think Minnesota took the Falcons approach (via Vick) to football. Winning consistently is a hard thing to do, if you want to fill the seats it is better to have some stars that will draw a crowd. I don't know if they will make the playoffs, but Peterson is fun to watch.
I hope this will be my last thought on the 'Skins, but they need to be completely blown up from the owner on down. Just a sad, sad, situation.
